Graduated from the Sibelius Academy in Finland and the Royal Academy of Music in London, Weitz is a reputed violinist, chamber musician and music educator in Europe. He gave performances at Wiener Konzerthaus in Austria, St John’s Smith Square in London and other prestigious concert halls.
As an experienced music educator, Weitz was the faculty of the Helsinki Conservatory of Music, the Department Head of the Swedish Institute of Music for the gifted children in the South Finland. He was appointed as an associate professor at the Academy of Music in Vienna (Violin Performance) and the Viennese Prayner Academy of Music (Pedagogy and Jazz Violin) since 2006.
Weitz also gave violin and chamber music master class around the world. Renowned music institutes include the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow, Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, the University of Music anddrama in Vienna, as well as the University in Gdansk (Poland).
