ABOUT JOHANNES BRAHMS MUSIC SCHOOL (JBMS) 

• Established in 1948 in Mürzzuschlag of Austria

• Under the patron of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, many of their students enter Vienna Music University and later work in Vienna Philharmonic and other professional orchestras

• Each student will have 4-6 recitals on top of ensemble and orchestra performance every year

• Collaborated with HKPMA since 2005 and has hands-on experience in understanding and training students from Asia

• Strengthen musical skills in small group and large ensembles

• Introduction to musicianship through an in-depth exploration of music and art

OVERVIEW

Vienna is the hub of classical music for centuries where many legendary composers’ lived and died there. The richness and reach of music are not comparable with another place on earth. Students will be trained in the Johannes Brahms Music School by professional musicians including conductor from the Vienna Boys Choir. And they will be immersed in music in every encounter, from learning music, making performance, attending concerts to visiting museums and the homes of composers.
