OVERVIEW
This tour intends to inspire students to jump out of their comfort zone and discover Taiwan by using the five senses. On the first day of the educational tour, the ‘Helen Keller of Taiwan’, Chuang Fu-Hua who expresses her thoughts using phonetic symbols and Morse code and aspires to fulfill her dreams regardless of physical limitation, will be sharing her life journey with the students. Actively participating in customised mission-based activities, including One day at Forest School and Discovery Day (Taipei City Hunt), students get to re-discover the city and their connection to nature. Through task-based activities, they learn and understand the value of empathy and social responsibility by exploring the community guided by the local Blind, as well as brainstorming in team projects that are required to be completed in complete darkness.
