Michael Koller believes that "music isn't all, but without music all is not".

Having studied trumpet and graduated at the University of Music in Graz and Oberschützen (Austria), Mr. Koller also conducts several ensembles and orchestras in the region of Mürzzuschlag, and tour with several orchestras in Europe, such as Gustav Mahler youth orchestra, under the conducting from Maestros Claudio Abbado and Franz Welser-Möst, and had masterclasses with Malte Burba, Stanko Arnold, Maurice André, Carole dawn-reinhardt and Hans Gansch.

He assumed the role as the Director of Johannes Brahms Music School (JBMS) on 1st August 2011. He started teaching at JBMS and in charge of all brass instruments since 1986 and worked closely with former director Prof. Smole on the World Music Academy Projects for Hong Kong students since 2005. He also organizes concerts, workshops courses for students from Hong Kong and other countries.
